My Great Grandfather homesteaded the property in the early 1900s receiving the “patent” from President Hoover in  1930.   I spent each summer here as I grew up and I am excited to share the magic and beauty or our property with you. Majestic views, peaceful surroundings, rugged terrain and an abundance of stars are there for you to enjoy. We strive to immerse you in nature while providing the comforts of home. Surrounded on three sides by the Routt National Forest, the ranch is on the north slope of the Rabbit Ears Range in Jackson County, Colorado .  Elevation of 8600 feet.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

 

• Fishing on over a mile of private stream (headwaters of the North Platte River)

• Hiking

• Four Wheeling On National Forest (4 wheeler not provided)

• Rock Climbing

•  Wildlife Viewing (deer, elk, moose, bear, mountain lion, pronghorn)

• Relaxing on the hammock.

• Delicious meals cooked by me, Greg, on a wood burning stove.

• Bring Adult Beverages and feel free to share with the other glampers and your hosts!
