Summer Solstice! wait...why all the snow?

Last weekend we were scheduled to host our first Tai Chi Retreat. As we began the final preparations for the tents and doing all the grocery shopping for the food the rain began to fall. Not unusual. Then the rain began to DUMP! Not as usual. Not long after we looked out the window to see white out conditions with the snow fall! Adding to the charm (though it really was beautiful) was the thunder and lightening in the snow. Crazy! It lasted all weekend. So, Friday early Friday morning we had to postpone the retreat. That was a very disappointing call to make. The silver lining is that maybe the new date(TBD) will allow others to attend that were not able to make it last weekend. Always a silver lining!
